Need funds added in a pinch?

Register for Express Top-Up and quickly top up your account simply by dialing #1234 from your PC mobile phone and providing your pre-assigned PIN. To sign up for Auto-Allowance or Express Top-Up you will need to speak to a PC mobile customer representative.

How to sign up for Express Top Up:

Contact a PC mobile customer service representative and provide your credit card or banking information, complete the Pre-Authorized Debit/Pre-Authorized Credit form and mail it to the address provided.

Add funds with top up cards

You can also pick up top up cards as you need them. They’re available at participating stores where President’s Choice® products are sold. Remember to keep your receipt as you’ll need to enter the PIN printed on it. Top up before your current account credit balance expires and it will carry forward.

  • The card number is valid for one-time users only

Credit Card Top Up

If you’ve got a major Canadian credit card, you’re good to go! Just call us at 1-877-284-6361 to add funds. Text Top Up

To top up by SMS (which is just another way to say "text message"), simply purchase a PC mobile top-up card and, using the top-up card number on the sales receipt, send a text message consisting of the letter "M" (capitalization not required) to PCSMS (72767) from your PC mobile phone. You can also manage your PC mobile account by using PCSMS: you can retrieve your real-time account credit balance, get expiry date information, and add features - all by text messaging.

How manage your account using SMS

You can retrieve your real-time account credit balance, expiry date information, top up your account and activate features - all right from your phone. Here’s how:

Simply send a text message the letter “M” (it’s FREE) from your PC mobile phone to PCSMS (72767) and wait for a response. Then reply using the appropriate letter: 

For Account Balance, reply "A" 
For Balance Expiry Date, reply "B" 
To add a feature, reply "C" 
"D"

To check your account credit balance and expiry date: 

  1. Send a text message with the letter "M" to 72767. Capitalization does not matter.
  2. Wait for the following text message response:
    Welcome... Please reply A: Account balance/Expiry date, B: Top up your account, C: Add a feature, D: Feature Info
  3. Reply A and wait for this response:
    PCSMS: You should receive a text message within a few minutes with your account credit balance. Reply M: Main Menu
  4. This message arrives shortly:
    PCSMS: Your current account balance is $xx.xx. Your balance will expire on YYYY-MM-DD. Reply O: To add funds, M: Main Menu.

To top up your account balance:

  1. Send a text message with the letter "M" to 72767. Capitalization does not matter.
  2. Wait for the following text message response:
    Welcome... Please reply A: Account balance/Expiry date, B: Top up your account, C: Add a feature, D: Feature Info
  3. Reply B and wait for this response:
    PCSMS: Please reply with your 16-digit PC mobile top up card number (example:123456789101).
  4. Reply only with your 16-digit top up card number. Do not enter any other characters.
  5. Wait for the following text message response:
    PCSMS: You should receive a text msg within a few mins to confirm your top-up. Please do not discard your receipt. Reply M: Main Menu.
  6. This message arrives shortly:
    PCSMS: Your top-up was successful, your new balance is $xx.xx. Reply M: Main Menu. presidentschoice.ca/mobile.

Self Serve

If you’ve signed up to the Internet Browser feature you can manage your account online right from your phone. Simply click on your PC mobile’s browser and click the “Self Serve” link located on your home page. You can now check your balance and expiry date, plus add funds, features and more.

General Terms and Conditions for all Top Ups:

No refunds, no replacements for a lost or stolen top up card or card number, unauthorized use of the service or expiry in whole or part of your PC mobile account credit balance. 
Your account will reflect this new expiry date within 24 hours. Subject to PC mobile Terms of Service.

Long Distance Cards

If you’ve got friends and family in the USA or elsewhere in the world, pick up a PC Long Distance Card at participating stores where President’s Choice products are sold. We offer two long distance cards, each tailored to your particular needs. Enjoy no hidden fees, free 1-866 access from Canada and the US to over 200 countries worldwide and billing in 1-minute increments.

For Canada – USA calls

  • Only 4.0¢/minute within Canada and the USA, anytime
  • You can also make international calls with this card at rates that are just a bit higher than our International long distance card
  • Available in $5, $10 and $20 amounts
  • You can transfer any remaining card balance to your next PC Prepaid Long Distance card

For International calls

  • Low rates from Canada and USA to over 200 other countries
  • You can also make calls within Canada and the USA at 4.9¢/minute with this card
  • Available in $5 and $10 amounts
  • Transfer any remaining card balance to your next PC International Prepaid Long Distance card.

Calls can only originate from Canada and the USA. At this time, you cannot call to or from remote areas of northern British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
